The article analyzes current trends in the development of cocoon breeding, the experience of individual countries in the implementation of state support for the production and processing of cocoons. At the same time, it is emphasized that our country also has ample opportunities for the development of cocoon and sericulture, and it is recommended to use the experience of various countries for the development of this area. Along with the existing measures to support cocoon growing in Azerbaijan, it is advisable to provide preferential loans to farmers and entrepreneurs involved in this area.
