Issues on ensure of food security

Food is the basis of people's health and an active lifestyle, which requires the combination of all the necessary capabilities in the appropriate orientation. The modern concept of food security is aimed at reliable long-term provision of the population with food products. The article considers food security issues as an important aspect of national and economic security and analyzes the main factors of its provision. The role of domestic production and imports in the provision of basic types of products is disclosed. At the same time, the impact of recent changes in food prices on the food supply of the population is considered.
