The article focuses on the importance and key aspects of agricultural innovation in contemporary times, as well as the establishment of agricultural innovation systems, and explores measures to foster the implementation of innovations. Modern approaches to stimulating innovation are analyzed. The impact of modern practices that stimulate innovations is analyzed. It is mentioned in this context that priority areas of measures implemented within the framework of innovation policies would be determined and implemented.
Progress in the application of innovations in Azerbaijan's agriculture in the contemporary period, as well as the formation of incentive mechanisms in this area are analyzed. Proposals are being made to broaden the scope of state aid measures in order to hasten agriculture's innovative development in key sectors.
