The application of green technologies in the field of food production creates favorable conditions for the implementation of environmentally friendly production. Food producers, regardless of ownership, are not able to implement the application of green technologies solely at the expense of their own internal resources. Therefore, the application of these technologies should be stimulated by the state. The article examines the specific characteristics of green technologies, mechanisms for their application to the food production process, and priority areas for the state to stimulate the application of green technologies in the food production process
