The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the main trends in the socioeconomic development of Azerbaijan’s regions and the factors influencing this process. The study examines the investment policy implemented within the framework of state programs, as well as the dynamics of economic activity and output across regions. At the same time, population incomes, social protection expenditures, and interregional disparities are assessed. Particular emphasis is placed on the impact of restoration and reconstruction measures carried out in the Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions on regional economic growth. Based on the analyses conducted, the importance of optimizing investment flows and strengthening socio-economic policy to ensure the sustainable and balanced development of regions is substantiated.
