Hazelnut cultivation is considered one of the important strategic export-oriented areas of agriculture in the development of Azerbaijan's non-oil sector. Developing the hazelnut sector, which plays a special role in the economic diversification of the country, is among the main priority directions. The development of Azerbaijan's hazelnut sector, which holds a key position in global hazelnut production, should also be examined on the international stage. In evaluating this sector, which has potential for development in various directions, the main economic assessments should be made from a global perspective. In this regard, the focus of the article's research is on studying the mechanisms of price transmission in the hazelnut sector between Azerbaijan and Turkey, which has significant export potential internationally, and conducting an empirical analysis from the perspective of integration degree, competitiveness, and dependency level using economic-statistical methods.
