The development of non-oil sectors is of great strategic importance for oil-exporting countries in a global competitive environment. In this regard, considering the wide opportunities for the development of agrotourism in our Republic, determining the development directions of agrotourism in a global competitive environment is characterized as an important global challenge. The development of agrotourism in a global competitive environment includes processes related to the creation of new jobs and ensuring reliable employment in the regions. From this point of view, the article evaluates the place and role of agrotourism in a global competitive environment, analyzes the experience of foreign countries in the development of agrotourism and the development prospects of agrotourism in our country.
