AbstractDue to the relatively high share of food prices in the consumer basket, rising food prices have a significant impact on inflation. The article examines the impact of agricultural and food prices on inflation. In this regard, food prices and inflation dynamics in Azerbaijan were analyzed. It is shown that the rise in prices for agricultural raw materials similarly affects food prices, which, in turn, affects inflation. The article also discusses the issues of state regulation in order to ensure stability in the agricultural market.
