AbstractAt the present time it is necessary to use levers that can increase the competitiveness of the country's economy in order to counteract the negative consequences of unfavorable trends in the world economy with minimal damage. The article discusses the formation of a competitive agroprocessing industry. It is noted that if the strengthening and development of the structure of the agroprocessing industry at the new stage of the country's economic development is fully achieved, the production of competitive products will increase, especially in the production and export of environmentally friendly products. At the same time, the current economic situation requires improving economic relations between raw materials and processing enterprises to increase production and improve product quality, which is one of the key issues in ensuring the sustainable development of the agricultural processing sector as an important sector of the non-oil sector.
