Directions of supporting entrepreneurship activities in agriculture

AbstractThe role of agriculture in meeting the needs of the country's population in food products, ensuring national food security and providing raw materials to industries is undeniable. The expansion of entrepreneurial activity in agriculture is aimed at creating food abundance.
Entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan, as in other countries, faces a number of problems, difficulties and obstacles due to the characteristics of agriculture and the risks associated with this area. The urgency of the topic stems from the need to form highly efficient, agile, competitive and quality entrepreneurship in agriculture.
In order to achieve the goal set in the article, the current situation in agriculture was assessed by comparing the indicators of the agrarian sector in developed and developing countries. At the same time, the importance of improving state support for the agricultural sector was explained.
