Development of insurance relations in agriculture and increasing the activity of insurance companies

The article analyzes the role of insurance in the agricultural sector of Azerbaijan, the application of the insurance mechanism with state support and its impact on the market activity of insurance companies. Analyzed the main indicators of existing insurance companies and organizations in the country. The dynamics of assets of insurance companies, insurance premiums and insurance payments for a certain period has been studied. In connection with the progress in the field of agricultural insurance, attention was paid to the problems of strengthening the activities of the country's insurance companies at the regional level. Recommendations have been developed to improve the work of insurance companies in Azerbaijan, increase the availability of insurance services and improve and strengthen the activities of insurance companies in general in the context of global impacts, as well as COVID-19 pandemic.
