The article considers the issues of increasing the economic efficiency of water use in plant growing. For this purpose, first of all, the country's water resources were considered and their use in agriculture, based on what gave a brief description of the reclamation of land. The economic efficiency of the use of water in the production of various agricultural products and the corresponding evaluations were studied. At the same time, the ways of effective use of water in agriculture in our country in modern conditions and appropriate recommendations and suggestions in this direction were considered.
